Committed to the vision of the citizenship of Avilés through art, cinema and culture, Avilés Acción presents as a novelty, in this 17th edition, the photographic contest "Avilés de Cine".
The idea of this initiative is to promote, through still images, all kinds of artistic photographs in which the authors freely mix cinema with our city.
Everything has a place in this event, from the fusion of the common imaginary of the films that we all know, or the ideas about other shootings that, perhaps, have not yet been produced, with the emblematic places and the most "cinematographic" corners of the city, to what the imagination and the framing of the camera are capable of capturing.
The company Acústica y Medio Ambiente S.L (ACUSMED), sponsors the prizes of this competition, which amount to 600 €. The photograph with the most online votes will receive a prize of €200 and the jury's winner will receive €400.
The call for entries opens on the festival website (www.avilesaccion.com) on 26 March 2018. All information will be posted on the website and on social media.
