The authors of the winning project are Mª Belén Vega, Mª Teresa García, Noemí Durán and Soledad Martos, students during the 2015-2016 academic year of the 2nd year of the Intermediate Degree: Laboratory Operations, at the CIFP of Avilés.
This project is based on the distribution of a novel product that facilitates the detection of gluten in questionable foods both at a private level and in food, health, education and hospitality companies.
On the other hand, the "Plantamanía" project presented by students from the 2015-2016 academic year of the First Intermediate Degree in Catering Services at the Gijón Catering School (module Safety and Hygiene in Food Handling) has been recognised as a "Special Mention: 2nd Prize".
