I COMPETITION "Genius: Devising a Sustainable Community".
Presentation of ideas/projects related to Sustainability, which could be applicable to any of the following areas:
- Territorial (urban, rural,...).
- Business
- Administration
- Educational centres
- Citizenship in general
The ideas or projects must refer to aspects included in one of the following thematic blocks:
- Water cycle, Water footprint
- Responsible consumption, green purchasing
- Emissions, waste, sound environment
- Energy and climate change, Carbon Footprint
- Territorial mobility
- Health and food
Aimed at
Baccalaureate and Intermediate Vocational Training students who are enrolled (as of 1 January 2016) in educational centres located in the Principality of Asturias.
Prizes (per idea/project):
· First Prize:
(a) Study aid worth 480 euros (provided by ACUSMED) earmarked for one of the following:
- Purchase of school material (books, stationery).
- Registration fees (school, university, extracurricular courses).
- Transport costs
- Expenses related to the project presented: patent application, feasibility studies, etc.... (Expenses will be duly justified by the recipients).
If part or all of the prize is waived, it will then be allocated to a project or solidarity action proposed by ACUSMED.
b) Diploma.
c) Free participation in the exclusive Workshop: "Sustainable Creativity for Entrepreneurs"; given by the Business Centre "La Curtidora" in its facilities in Avilés.
d) Attendance, at the offices of ACUSMED, to the practical seminar on acoustics (2 hours): "Conducting environmental noise tests". Which includes the practical part of carrying out measurements "in situ" and the certificate of attendance.
· Second Prize:
a) Diploma.
b) Free participation in the exclusive Workshop: "Sustainable Creativity for Entrepreneurs"; given by the Business Centre "La Curtidora" in its facilities in Avilés.
